Barbara Sheehan

Barbara is an Associate and Senior Landscape Architect with over 16 years of experience in a diverse range of innovative and complex projects focused on urban design for downtown corridors, recreational and community spaces, parks, transit corridors, and master planning for private and public sector clients. She received her professional credentials in 2011 (AALA, CSLA).

Barbara has been Design team leader, guiding projects successfully from initiation to completion. Barbara was with IBI Group initially from 2005-2012 and returned in 2016 to rejoin the Placemaking team. Since her return, she has played a leading role in the landscape architecture and sustainable urban integration elements for Edmonton’s Valley Line LRT project and has led the design for urban and suburban parks for the City of Edmonton and the City of St. Albert.
